Xerostomia:
Dry mouth. Xerostomia can be associated with systemic diseases (such as SjogrenÆs syndrome, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, sarcoidosis, amyloidosis, hypothyroidism, and others). Xerostomia results from inadequate function of the salivary glands, such as the parotid glands.
